He is a lecturer in soft computing and mathematics, teaching theory and practical courses for post-graduates and under-graduates students. The course he taught includes, 'Artificial Intelligence', 'Evolutionary Computing', 'Genetic Algorithms', 'Artificial Neural Network', 'Data Mining and Business Intelligence', 'Theory of Computation', 'Calculus', 'Numerical Analysis', 'Linear Algebra' and 'Discrete Mathematics'. He also taught computer science courses, includes 'Computer Organizations and Architecture', 'System Administration and Maintenance', 'Mathematics for Computing', 'Computer, Data Processing, Analysis and Data Modeling', 'Network Project Management' and 'Statistics'.



Burhanuddin's education was first in Diploma and Honors Degree in Computer Science. After a few years working experience in the multi-national industries, includes Rubber Industrial Smallholder Development Authority, Intel Technology and ESSO Production Incorporation, he successfully completed his MSc. and PhD. With good experience in industry and manufacturing lines, Burhanuddin has sought to bring together disciplines, computer and mathematics to obtain MSc. and PhD. by research. He managed to produce MSc. by research thesis titled 'Reliability Analysis of Repair Time Data' and PhD. titled 'Decision Support Model in Failure-Based Computerized Maintenance Management System for Small And Medium Industries'. The thesis explore the important and derive failure-based maintenance strategies in production lines and propose resources utilization in small and medium industries.



He joined Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology in 2004. Then he joined in King Abdulaziz University, Rabigh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a secondment program for 2 years. Burhanuddin has been active at all levels of the university development and one of the pioneers in building the faculties in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka and King Abdulaziz University Rabigh. He has experience in managing research grants and supervises under-graduate and post-graduate students. His key areas of research interest are 'multiple criteria decision making models', 'optimization techniques', 'artificial neural networks', 'fuzzy logic', 'genetic algorithm' and 'business intelligence'. He has published articles, books and manuscript on some of these subjects.

Zahriah Binti Sahri is currently a Senior Lecturer at Fakulti Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Malaysia (UTeM) where she teaches computer science subjects to undergraduate students. She has taught Artificial Intelligence, object-oriented programming with Java, software requirement and analysis, and database courses so far.

Prior to joining UTeM, she had held the position of programmer and system analyst at various industries. During her 10-year industrial stint, she was entrusted to design, develop and maintained various applications ranging from financial system to human-resource system.

Her research interests include power transformer fault diagnostic, missing data imputation, feature selection, supervised learning and meta-heuristic algorithms.

She completed her PhD in Queensland University of Technology, Australia. Her PhD work is focusing on SaaS Resource Management System in Cloud Computing using Evolutionary Computation. She is also a visiting researcher at University of Kobe, Japan, where her work is focusing on autonomous driver's model optimization in emission test cycle. She did her Master at University of Edinburgh, Scotland and her undergrad study is at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor.

Zeratul is a Certified IT Professional (Malaysia) and EMC Data Science Associate. Her research interests lie in the area of developing soft computing solutions to improve the systems' intelligence. Through her past research in Dyslexia area, she has won two gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal at both international and national exhibitions. The product of the research has also been commercialized and applied for patent.

In recent years, her research is focusing on intelligent analytics, evolutionary computation techniques, Software as a Service (SaaS) and Cloud computing area.

He received his BSc in Information Technology (with Hons.) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 1995, and his MSc also in Information Technology (with Hons) specializing in Software Development and Multimedia from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA in 1998.



Since 1995 until now, he has been working at few organizations such as at KontenaNasional Bhd. as Network Programmer in 1995, at Universiti Utara Malaysia (Kedah) as a tutor and a lecturer from 1996 until 200 and at UniversitiTeknikal Malaysia Melaka as senior lecturer since 2001. As an active academician, he has been teaching a lot of IT related courses such as Programming Technique using C++ and Java, Data Structure and Algorithms, Statistic, Game Programming, Human Computer Interaction, Audio Video Technology, File Processing, Multimedia Networks, Interactive Media Authoring and Multimedia System.



Aside from teaching, he also involve in supervising students project both undergraduate and post graduate levels, producing a few subject modules, seminar and conference paper as well as book chapters. Ahmad Shaarizan is currently seeking to pursue his study in PhD level. His research interests are in human computer interaction, augmented reality,non-verbal communication, affective computing, posture and emotional gesture recognition from virtual human. More precisely, he is trying to explore the interpretation and level of believability from emotional body language when display by virtual characters in computer augmented environment.

Dr. Naim supervises dissertations and theses in the area of Game-based Learning; Games and Multimedia Technology; Mobile Computing; Animation Techniques as well as Web-Based Applications. While he is primarily a Computer Games researcher, his work tends to have a strong inter-disciplinary focus. His current research has two broad area : developing methods to support collaborative learning using computer games as a tool; apply theories and experimental techniques to provide a better understanding of how computer games able to assist people with disabilities.

Aniza graduated from the Universiti Pertanian Malaysia then Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 1993 with a honours degree of Computer Science. In 2000, she obtained her Master Degree in Computer Science (Multimedia ) from the same University. In 1994 she worked as a research assistant at Engineering Faculty and Electronic in UPM where she had the opportunity to get involved in developing programs for robotic (RT100) using PASCAL. In 1996 she became a lecturer in Kolej Yayasan Melaka before joining University Teknikal Malaysia Melaka in 2001 as an academic staff. research interests. Specializing in the intersection between E-learning, social media

application, Web 2.0 tools, applied game design, presentation design, 2D & 3D animation

and digital art, Farah has a well rounded skill-set to draw from when facilitating workshops

and contributing her expertise in academic research.




Farah enjoys learning a little about everything that captures her interest her as she uses

Zulisman's education was first in Honors Degree in Computer Graphic Design from Wanganui Polytechnic, then Masters of Arts Design and Manufacture from De Montfort University.



Throughout the 90s, Zulisman joined Macroworld Sdn. Bhd Technology Park Malaysia as a Senior Manager during which he handles few major projects such as SUKOM 98. In 2001 he became a full-time lecturer in Multimedia Department at Universiti Utara Malaysia where he taught Multimedia Systems, HCI, 2D and 3D animation, Design Theory, Creative Thinking subjects in the undergraduate program and IT for Managers in a Post- graduate Program.



He joined Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, then KUTKM in 2003 as a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. Zulisman has been active at all levels of the faculty and university initiatives especially in design fields. He is active with consultation job with the industry such as involvement in Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Terengganu Integrated Management System Development.



As a Faculty Internal Auditor Representative (ISO) he also represent the University on the implementation and monitoring of the ISO standard.



Qualified in both Graphics and Multimedia Design, Zulisman has sought to bring together both disciplines in his Professional Doctorate in Design titled Developing Malaysian Community-based Flood Warning Initiatives Through Activity Centered Design.



The thesis explore the context of communication design and community through the semiotic analysis of a various communication design issues and explores the community and social contribution in developing a cohesive Flood Warning Systems. Key areas of interest are communication design, Human Computer Interaction, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking and visual language and graphics design technology.



Current interests also include design research methods, gender and visual language, Activity Centered Design Theory and communication design.

In 2000, he joined Multimedia University (MMU) and was a founding Chairman of the Center of Excellence for Computer Languages (CCL). In August 2015, he has been appointed as Director of Industry Liaison Centre and Lead, Samsung IoT Academy at the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and now holding a position as Assistant Vice Chancellor, UTeM. Prior to his current appointment, he was Honorary Research Associate, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Deputy Director for IIMLab (Intelligent Interactive Media Lab), and Honorable member of the Centre for Enterprise Collaboration in Innovative Systems (CECIS), Research member for Murdoch University Research Excellence Grant Scheme (REGS-2006-07) at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia. His main research interest is in the development of Intelligence System, Virtual Financial Advisor, mobile services and distributed database using state-of-the-art cryptography such as blockchain.



He is the author of more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific journal, books, conference papers, articles in newspaper and blogs. He has led and worked on research grants funded by Malaysian Government's Intensified Research in Priority Areas, Malaysia Technology Development Corporation, Australian Research Centre for Medical Engineering, University of Western Australia. In addition, he has consulted with companies on product development including Maybank2u Virtual Financial Advisor, Samsung Virtual Robot (SamBot), CitySoft Technology Sdn Bhd, KRU Sdn Bhd, MyIPO (Intellectual Property Organisation) and Maya Artificial Intelligence Sdn Bhd. He was also invited as a Keynote Speaker at the International Conference on eLearning for Knowledge-based Society 2005, Public Lecture at National Science Center 2004, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and as a Guest Lecture, invited by IEEE Western Australia Section in 2016. Recently, Goh has been appointment as Honorary Advisory Board for Big Data Technology Pty Ltd from 2017-2020. Abdul Razak Hussain is currently a Senior Lecturer and is teaching/has taught subjects for the diploma, undergraduate and graduate programs - databases (database, database design, data warehousing, data mining), programming languages (C++, Java), systems analysis & design and software engineering.



He has been a member for a number of committees including the Undergraduate Final Year Project and Industrial Training committee. He's now attached to the Infrastructure and Certification committees.



His key areas of interest are database design and development and healthcare information systems. He is also interested in open source systems and creative thinking.

She received her degree and master in Computer Science (Software Engineering) and her Ph.D in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Her Ph.D thesis was about investigating the representation of unique significant features for Individuality of Handwriting in Writer identification domain. Her research interests include soft computing, pattern recognition, image processing, machine learning, computational intelligence and hybrid systems. Her current research work is on pattern anaysis of Handwriting and Drug Discovery domain and can be seeing in her publications in various international journal and conference proceedings. She is a member of Computational Intelligences and Technologies Lab at FTMK and MIR_Labs, Europe. She finished her first degree at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 1995 with BSc in Information Technology (with Hons.) and later her MSc from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA in 1998 with MSc in Information Technology (with Hons) specializing in Software Development and Management.


Her career starts as a tutor in 1995 and as a lecturer from 1996 until 2000 at Universiti Utara Malaysia (Kedah). She continued her career at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka after being transferred to Melaka. She teaches Software Engineering and C++ Programming in Honours and Diploma Core Subjects.



Massila's education was first Degree in Computer Science majoring in Software Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2003, then completed her MSc in Computing and Software Technology in 2006 from University of Wales Swansea. In 2011 she gained her Doctorate in University of Auckland, New Zealand under the supervision of Prof John Hosking and Prof John Grundy in the area of Requirements Engineering within 3 years. As a PhD student at University of Auckland, she felt encouraged to pursue her intellectual curiosity and push boundaries. Therefore, before her graduation days, she pursued post-doctorate study on the same year at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne Australia for one year.



In 2003 she became a full-time lecturer in National Institute of IT (NIIT) where she taught programming courses before continue as a tutor in Kolej Universiti Teknikal Melaka. She then continues as a full-time lecture in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in the year of 2006 and then promoted to senior lecturer in the year of 2011. In KUTKM and UTeM, she taught a few subjects such as C++ programming, Software Engineering, Manufacturing Information Technology and Requirements Elicitation.



As for research and publication, she is a member of IEEE and Malaysia Software Engineering Group (MYSEIG). She is also a reviewer of several IEEE conference proceeding papers and Special Issue papers for Automated Software Engineering Journal. She is also active in publishing high impact and peer-reviewed papers in the Requirements Engineering area of study. Her current research is on security requirements, requirements validation mainly on consistency management, multi-lingual requirements in global software development as well as generating and validating test cases from requirements. She also interested in researching other area of studies in software engineering such as software engineering education, model - driven development and methodology and software tool.



Her research has attracted a lot of attention from college in Malaysia and overseas such as from Australia, New Zealand and USA. She is engaged with several local grants such as Fundamental and RAGs research grant from MOHE and Science Fund Research grant from MOSTI. Currently, she is engaged with international industry grant from Fulgent Corporation, USA. Qualified and experience in Requirements Engineering has sought to appoint her to supervise a few PhD and Master by research students and appointed her as a visiting researcher and speaker in Australian National University, Australia, University of Texas San Antonio, USA and Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia.

Mohd Fadzil obtained an Honors Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1985. Shortly after graduation he joined the public service as a systems analyst at the Inland Revenue Department of Malaysia until 1996. From 1996 to 2000 he was actively involved in several software development and systems integration projects, mainly for Telekom Malaysia Berhad and several organizations such as Tabung Haji, Royal Police Force and Malaysia Airport Berhad. He had 17 years of experience in managing, developing and implementing commercial and national ICT projects before changing his career path from industry to academia in 2003. He has been with industry in commercial systems development since 1988 including the Bank Simpanan National (BSN), Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Heitech Padu Berhad and Medical Online Bhd. He started his carrier as a programmer and progressed to system analyst, project leader, project manager and software development manager.



He earned his Diploma in Computer Science, from Universiti Teknologi MARA. He then received his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Master of Science in Real-Time Software Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He then pursues the third degree in Biomedical Computing and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Coventry University, the United Kingdom in 2009.



His research areas of interest include electronic healthcare systems, telemedicine, healthcare knowledge management, system architecture and software reuse. Noor Azilah’s research interest is in the area of Soft Computing, Data Management and Software Engineering. Recently, Noor Azilah has a special interest in the Artificial Immune System (AIS) mechanism of recognizing cells that she later investigates the mechanism to recognize different patterns of music features for music genre classification. As her background is in the Software Engineering area, she is also involved in a research that investigated negotiations in requirement elicitation to improve the quality of requirements. Her PhD thesis addresses the problem of incorporating incremental learning in artificial learning models and highlights its practical value and utility.



From 1998 to 1999, Dr. Norashikin was an analyst programmer at a software company in Johor, Malaysia. From 1999 to 2001 Norashikin worked at Johor Islamic College, Malaysia as a lecturer. Norashikin started her academic career with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, Malaysia as a tutor in October 2001. She has been a lecturer in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka since 2003. Her first plunge into the working life started in 1981 at Great Eastern Life Assurance Company as an executive assistant in the actuarial department. She then went on to further her studies in computer science at the University of Terra Haute, Indiana, USA and graduated in 1984. She then started working at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Kedah in 1986 as a systems analyst and rose up the ladder to become chief systems analyst. During her tenure at UUM's computer center, she was involved in application development supporting the whole university administrative services including the student information system, staff information system, library system, development system, financial and accounting system, post-graduate information system, and the hostel system. She was sponsored by UUM to study for her masters at University of Bradford in 1992. She then taught part-time for the masters program at UUM while at the same time involved in managing IT services for the university. She was involved in consultation work with Malaysia Agricultural Development Authority, Kedah State government, Majlis Agama Islam Kedah, and IKIP Pahang. She left the technical world to join the academics on a full-time basis as a senior lecturer in 2000 at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Perak, specializing in teacher education at the degree and masters levels. She was appointed the deputy director of the ICT Center at UPSI.



Norhaziah joined Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), then known as Kolej Universiti Teknikal Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2003 as an associate professor at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. In 2004 she was trained and appointed as an internal auditor for the university's MS-ISO 9001:2008 until now. She was the Faculty's coordinator for student internship from 2005 till 2010. Starting from 2007 she is an active member of the Malaysia Infosys Technical Committee which is tasked to increase the quality and quantity of ICT workforce in the country. She is also a member of the MyTRIZ Committee from 2011 as well as a Level 1 instructor for TRIZ.



Research interest covers document security, data availability, algorithms, database administration, online testing, games in learning, knowledge integration and delivery.



Sporting activities for her are bowling and table tennis where she represented Melaka for bowling at the national level in 2010 and she represented UPSI in bowling in 2001 till 2003 and UTeM for bowling from 2004 till now in the inter-varsity annual games. She was the manager for women's volleyball team at UUM.

She begins her career in academic in 2002, where she joined Kolej Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (KUTKM) (which later called as Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in 2003) as a tutor at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. In 2004, she was appointed as a lecturer; in 2011 she becomes a senior lecturer after successfully completing her PhD at the University of Manchester. In 2017, she was promoted as Associate Professor.


At undergraduate level, she mainly teaches database-related subjects such as Database Design, Database Programming, Multimedia Database and Advanced Database Programming. At postgraduate level teaches Algorithm Analysis and Database Programming. She also supervises a number of undergraduates (and postgraduates) projects.


Her research interests are in data/information quality, big data management, bioinformatics, databases, data security, database storage optimization and in-database analytics. She is looking forward for research collaborators and postgraduate students who have similar interests to work on research projects.

He joined UTeM since 2003 and focuses on programming subjects especially Object Oriented Programming, Programming Technique, Distributed Application Development and Algorithm Analysis and Design. He also teaches master coursework classes and supervises master by research and Doctor of Philosophy students.

In research, he is the Malaysian pioneer researcher in identification and verification of digital images of Al-Quran Mushaf. He is also involved in Digital Jawi Paleography. He actively contributes in the feature extraction domain. He has proposed a novel technique based on geometry feature used in Digit and Arabic based handwritten documents.

From the achievement of his researches, he has filed one Intellectual Property (PI2016704859), four (4) copyrights and three (3) trademarks. Besides, he has published more than 30 publications.

Dr. Mohd Sanusi Bin Azmi also won 1 Silver for ITeX 2017, 1 Bronze for MTE 2017, 1 Silver for E-Learning Carnival 2017, 2 Gold for UTemex 2016, 1 Bronze for UTeMex 2016 and 1 Bronze for UTeMex 2015.

00682.jpgYahaya's education was first in Diploma in Human Development from Agricultural Malaysian University (UPM), now Malaysia Putra University, then Honors Degree in Information Technology from Northern Malaysian University (UUM), then Masters in Science Information Technology with Honors from Technology Malaysia University (UTM) and completely his PhD at Technical University Malaysia Malacca in 2015. He has very wide experience in corporate sector like unit trust and fund management, stock broking sector and property management. In academic he also have wide experience in teaching from 1995 until now; whereas start from join Institute Technology Tun Abdul Razak and then with few of colleges and local universities in Malaysia as part time lecturer.



He joined Universiti teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), since from KUTKM in 2003 as a Lecturer at Faculty of Information and Communication technology. Yahaya has been active at all levels of the faculty initiating and building the traching and incorporation of research methods in both design research and design practice. He is active with consultation job with the industry such as involvement in Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Terengganu Integrated Management System Development and Forestry Information Management Negeri Sembilan (FIMN9)..



Qualified in both System and Database Design, Yahaya has sought to bring together both disciplines in his PhD titled Anonymization Data Network The thesis explore the context of privacy data design technique and security through the technical design issues Key areas of interest are technique to anonymize the network data for privacy purpose to publish the sensitive information . He has published articles and journals on some of these subjects.



Current interests also include design research methods, technology and performance and the development of new postgraduate program structure for database technology courses.

Her tertiary education was first in Honours Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), then Masters in Interactive Computing & System Design from Loughborough University. She started her career as a trainee Analyst Programmer at MBfIS Kuala Lumpur. After her graduation in 1993, she decided to get involved in education as a tutor at Fakulti Sains Komputer dan Sistem Maklumat, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur. Then in 1996, after gaining her Master's degree, she became a full-time lecturer in Software Engineering Department at UTM Skudai, Johor.



After nearly ten years with UTM she joined Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, then KUTKM in 2002 as a Lecturer at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. Zarita has been active at the faculty as the coordinator for Computer Programming subject for several years and committee member of various committees and programs. Her experience and passion in teaching and learning computer programming has initiated her to do some researches in teaching and learning strategies in this area.

She graduated with her first degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Bachelor of Computer Science in 2003. She joined Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in May 2004 as a Tutor. Then, she pursued and completed her studies in Masters of Information Technology at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia in 2006.


She is now in her seventh year with UTeM and she has experienced in teaching and supervising degree and diploma students for Final Year Projects, Workshop I, Workshop II and Industrial Training. She also has supervised and become a mentor for students in national programming contest, and even for world level IT competition such as Imagine Cup and also industry collaboration IT competition, UTeM-Infineon Competition 2012. She was also involved in consultation jobs with government agencies. She is a certified trainer for IC Citizen certification.


Her current research interest is in Decision Support System, Programming, Software Engineering, Health Informatics and Artificial Intelligence.



She is very keen and actively involved in sport activities. She has represent UTeM in annual intervarsity sport tournament (SUKUM 2009, SUKUM 2010 and SUKUM 2011) in badminton and tennis. Besides, she also represents UTeM for MAKSAK tournament also in badminton. In addition, she also represent the faculty in a variety of sports such as badminton, tennis, volleyball, carom and netball. She won the bronze medal in MTUN tournament for badminton and won the third prize in Kejohanan Piala Datuk Bandar Melaka in Mei 2012.

Sazalinsyah Razali has a Masters in Computer Science, BSc. (Hons.) in Information Technology and is a Certified IT Professional (Malaysia), Certified Software Tester (CTFL), and Certified RapidMiner Analyst. He has experience teaching undergraduate level Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence subjects since 2003, apart from his two years of experience in the IT industry. He had also received a Japanese government sponsorship for a specialized IT training known as Asian Fundamental IT Engineers (ASFE) program that was held in Yokohama, Japan.



He joined Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), then known as Kolej Universiti Teknikal Kebangsaan Malaysia (KUTKM) in 2004 as a Lecturer at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. He first started his academic career in 2003 as a Lecturer at Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan Utara Malaysia (KUKUM), now known as Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). Prior to that, Dr. Sazalinsyah Razali was a Lead Web Developer in a local IT company and was involved in various web-based and e-commerce projects. He led a team of web programmers in developing several e-commerce websites. He also underwent a Graduate Trainee program at Agilent Technologies, a multi-national company located in Penang, Malaysia.

(Hons.) in Geophysics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1996, MSc. in Land Surveying (Remote Sensing) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2001 and PhD in Applied Mathematics (Remote Sensing) from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2012. The title of his PhD thesis is "Atmospheric Effects on Land Classification Using Satellites and Their Correction". He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Intelligent Computing and Analytics, Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FTMK), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia, Melaka (UTeM). He is a member of Optimisation, Modelling, Analysis, Simulation and Scheduling (OptiMAS) research group, Centre for Advanced Computing Technology (C-ACT), UTeM. He is also a professional member of the Institution of Geospatial and Remote Sensing Malaysia (IGRSM).



His research interest includes remote sensing, image processing, artificial intelligence and applied mathematics. Before joining UTeM in June 2003, he was a research officer at the Malaysian Remote Sensing Agency (ARSM), Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) from 1999 until May 2003. At ARSM, he involved in a number of international and national projects such as Establishment of a GIS Database for Sumatra, Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia (ASEAN-UNEP), AIRSAR PACRIM Programme (MACRES-NASA), and the development of Microwave Remote Sensing Applications using space-ground utilities (MACRES-MMU). He has authored and co-authored more than 70 research papers and articles in national and international publications. He was also the leader and member for a number of research grants from UTeM, Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP).

Mohd Adili's education was first in Honors Degree in Computer Science (Interactive Media) from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), then Masters of Computer Science (Multimedia) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).



He joined Les' Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd. as an Animator in 2008. He involved in few major animation projects such as animated featured film "Geng the Movie: Pengembaraan Bermula", animated series "Upin & Ipin The Series" and other project such as "Ingat!".

He joined Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka in 2009 as a Tutor where he taught Multimedia System. He became a Lecturer at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology in 2012 and he taught Computer Animation, Computer Graphics Interactive, and Introduction to Computer Games Programming. He has been active at all levels of the faculty and university initiatives.



Qualified in Interactive in Multimedia, he determined to bring it in his professionalism in an effort to pioneer the future and contribute to community wherever he is.

His current interests also include augmented reality, virtuality, and virtual reality.

Prior to his specialization, he has been entrusted to coordinate the development of Bachelor Degree program in computer security for FTMK and the 2nd International Cryptology Conference (CRYPTOLOGY 2010). Additionally,Zakihas also a keen interest on network and Software development. To date he is also a Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT), Certified IPv6 Network Engineer (CNE6) and a Certified Cisco Academy Instructor (CCAI).



Zakiis actively involved in Computer and Network security research especially on Intrusion Detection system for both IPv4 and IPv6 network technology. He joined 1 LRGS project and has received 1 FRGS and 7 short grant researches to fund his research. 10 years in the academic world has given him a skill in technical writing and has developed his passion toward writing technical paper. Pramudya's education was first in Honors Degree in Mathematics Education from Universitas Udayana, then in Qualified Honors Equivalence Program in Pure Mathematics from Insitute Teknologi Bandung. His master degree is awarded from Macquarie University in the area of Theoretical Computer Science. He furthered his study at Wollongong University in 1997 to commence his EdD in ICT in Education and Training titled the Use of Adaptive Web-Based Learning Environment for Acquiring Conceptual and Procedural Knowledge.



After years of national and regional experiences in teaching, research, community services, and education consultation in Indonesia, he then joined the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka in 2010 as a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Information and Communication Technology. He has served various government agencies including as Principle ICT Consultant (Strategic) in the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), Prime Minister's Department (March 2010-May 2012), as Under Secretary of ICT Division, Ministry of Health, Malaysia (February 2005-March 2010), as a professor at Faculty of Information Technology and Communication, National Technical College University of Malaysia (KUTKM), Ayer Keroh, Malacca (2002-2005) and also Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Division at the same university (2003-2005). As Adjunct Professor at UTeM (2005-2011). She then worked in various multinational companies in Malaysia since 2008. Consequently, she proceeded to study her Masters and PhD in the field of Health Informatics and Health Information Systems in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. She has undergone intensive industry experience particularly in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, where she specialised in computerised systems validation, quality and enterprise resource systems. She also has some industry experience in business strategy during her early working years. She is also fluent in various quality management systems including environmental, occupational safety and health quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000.


Her research interests include health information systems, biomedical computing, telemedicine, telehealth, mobile health, e-health, electronic health records, interoperability, health information exchange, ERP, manufacturing systems halal and supply chain management. She has published in high impact journals and participated in many local and international conferences.

His passion has always been in the area of academics, to be a scholar and an expert in the area of Information and Communication Technology especially in Networking, Computer Systems, Security, Network Administration and Design through working, teaching and undertaking research in those areas.



His illustrious journey in the academic arena started with a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from Purdue University, United States in the area of Computer Systems Engineering, followed by a PhD in the area of Parallel Processing from the University of Sheffield United Kingdom in 1995.



His contribution in academia began in 1997 when he served Multimedia University for 4 years after which he joined Kolej Yayasan Melaka as the Founding Director of Academic Affairs. In 2002, Shahrin started his academic career at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) where he held several prominent posts including as the Deputy Dean at the Faculty of Information Technology & Communications (2002) Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology & Communications (2006), the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic
& International) (2013) and eventually as the Vice-Chancellor in 2014 till present. Prior to his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of UTeM, he served for a short stint as the Director of Academic Development Management at the Department of Higher education, Ministry of Education in 2012.



As an academic, he has published over 100 technical papers at international conferences and journals. He has supervised more than 40 projects for undergraduates and postgraduates programmes. He is also actively involved in many committee and subcommittee as the chairman, co-chairman, panel, and advisory council at the state, national and international levels.



His expertise in curriculum development is frequently sought for by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) at which he sits in the Accreditation Committee and Chair the Computing Standard Committee. Besides contributing to the development of Malaysian Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) Policy and the National Cyber-Security Policy (NSCP), he also contributes to Cybersecurity Malaysia as a Member of Malaysia Common Criteria (MyCC) Scheme Management Board. His current area of interest is in the field of Network and Computer Security.



In recognition of his academic achievements, research and administrative experience, Professor Datuk Dr. Shahrin bin Sahib was appointed as the 3rd Vice Chancellor of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) on 16 June 2014 to lead the focus university to its pinnacle of excellence as one of the best technical universities in the world with his vast experience in the technical and technology field.

The title of her PhD research is "A Medical Ultrasound Reporting System Based on Domain Ontology" where she investigates the effectiveness of using natural language processing in allowing flexibility for doctors in writing their report yet producing a standardised electronic copy.
