Throughout her experience in teaching web development, human computer interaction, animation, e-Commerce, games and design, Farah has actively carried out innovative technology enhanced learning strategies in her classroom such as the adoption of online web 2.0 tools, social media and MOOC.
Farah's research interests span both edutainment and intelligent media computing. Much of her works explore the intersection between e-learning, instructional design and entertainment computing. She highly welcomes postgraduate candidates who are passionate in discovering methods, heuristics, user experience and usability issues on edutainment applications, tools and media. This includes games, web and mobile apps, narrative environments, animated infographics, explainer videos, authoring tools, gamification, persuasive technology and intelligent media systems.
