Industrial Training Program
Duration and Requirements
Students are required to undergo a minimum of 24 weeks of internship at an organization of their choice. Throughout the internship period, students are guided and monitored by an industrial supervisor, ensuring that their training aligns with professional standards. Additionally, students must document their internship activities in a logbook as part of their assessment.
Faculty Supervision and Evaluation
The faculty supervisor will conduct two visits during the internship:
- First Visit: Conducted after the initial two weeks to review the student’s progress and provide guidance.
- Second Visit: Conducted near the end of the 24-week period. During this visit, students are required to deliver a presentation at their host organization, attended by both the industrial supervisor and the faculty supervisor.
Benefits for Students
Industrial training provides students with the opportunity to:
- Apply the knowledge and skills gained in the classroom to real-world scenarios.
- Develop and enhance their interpersonal skills through interaction and collaboration with industry professionals and peers.
