Bachelor of Technology in Cloud Computing and Application with Honours can give students an education in the different areas of computer technology and its related application, such as programming, networks, software design, cloud management and beyond.

The curriculum is based on a 60% practical-oriented approach and developed with our strategic industrial partners, where 40% of the syllabus is industry-based courses that could help the students in gaining exposure to cloud technology and its related management principles and knowledge of the latest cloud computing trends.

The programme objectives are to produce technologists who are able to produce professional and competent technologists in the work processes related to the development, manufacturing, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Cloud Computing technology.

  1. Obtained at least three (3) principal passes in the General Certificate of  Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) Examination (UK Examination  System); or
  2. International Baccalaureate (IB) obtained in one sitting;
  3. For countries which do not follow the UK examination or International Baccalaureate (IB) system, intake consideration shall be based on the equivalency of the qualification table by the Malaysian Qualification Agency) and have completed at least twelve (12) years of education AND
  4. Meet all admission or specific Programmes requirements of UTeM.


  • A minimum score of 500 in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)


  • A minimum score/band of 5.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).


  • A minimum score/Band 3 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Applicants without TOEFL/IELTS/MUET or those who obtained a score/band below the English language proficiency requirement may enrol in the Academic English Programme to meet the minimum language proficiency requirement
